Urgent Call to Aid Lebanon's Displaced Families

Since the civil war, Lebanon has not witnessed a night as deadly and devastating as this. In less than 24 hours, 492 lives have been lost, and at least 1,645 people are wounded. Entire families in the south, including children and the elderly, have fled their homes leaving everything behind. They now find refuge in schools, mosques, and churches, while many others—stranded without fuel—spent the night in their cars.
Today, we call on everyone to stand in solidarity with these displaced families. They urgently need your support, whether it’s food, medicine, or safe shelter. Your help can make all the difference.

Together, we can make a difference".

We are facing a multidimensional and unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. Living conditions have deteriorated dramatically due to ongoing conflicts, and the war has not only destroyed infrastructure but also forced approximately one million Lebanese, according to Prime Minister Najib Mikati, to flee in search of safety in more stable areas.

As pressure continues to mount on areas that have been hosting more than one million Syrian refugees for years, the challenges have become even more complex. The internal displacement of Lebanese has added an extra burden, requiring a comprehensive and swift response.

The Development & Regeneration Association-INMAA, with its long-standing history in humanitarian and relief work, has set new priorities to meet urgent needs and re-evaluate intervention strategies. We are currently focused on providing emergency shelters, financial support to affected families, and activating social protection programs to ensure the rights of all vulnerable groups are safeguarded.

We are also facing a significant challenge in balancing priorities and needs. Syrian refugees are struggling with increasing difficulties, especially as most aid and shelters are allocated to displaced Lebanese, forcing many Syrians to leave their rented homes in favor of financially stronger Lebanese displaced.

We understand that this crisis requires concerted efforts at both the local and international levels, and no single entity can tackle these challenges alone. Therefore, we call on you to extend a helping hand and contribute to alleviating the suffering of those in dire need of your support.

Don't hesitate to join us in this humanitarian campaign. You can contribute financially, volunteer in our various activities, or raise awareness about the importance of supporting the cause of the displaced and refugees."
