As military tensions escalate in Lebanon, hundreds of thousands of families have been forced to leave their homes in search of safety.
Official data indicates that more than 700,000 people have been displaced within Lebanon since the outbreak of the war, while over 120,000 displaced individuals are staying in collective shelters such as schools and public buildings.

This sudden displacement is placing significant pressure on local communities and essential services, particularly amid economic collapse and declining humanitarian resources.

INMAA’s Response
Since its establishment in 2003, the Development and Renewal Association (INMAA) has been working alongside the most vulnerable communities in Lebanon.

Through multiple programs, the association contributes to maintaining essential services that communities rely on to sustain themselves, including:
• Community healthcare
• Education support for children and youth
• Women’s empowerment and community capacity building
• Livelihood support for vulnerable families
• Humanitarian response to crises and displacement

These efforts help thousands of families remain resilient in the face of daily challenges.
However, the continuity of these services is not guaranteed.

With escalating crises and declining humanitarian funding, the risk is increasing that local communities may lose some of the services they depend on daily.
This is why solidarity is more important today than ever before.

As the current crisis intensifies, the association continues its efforts to:
• Support families affected by displacement
• Provide essential humanitarian assistance
• Support host communities bearing the burden of displacement
• Strengthen community services relied upon by thousands

These efforts aim to alleviate the suffering of affected families and support local communities in facing current challenges.

Why Your Support Is Needed Today
When essential services collapse, it is not only projects that stop…
Daily life itself comes to a halt.

Patients may lose access to treatment.
Children may find themselves without support or education.
Families may face crises without any assistance.

Preserving these services means preserving the humanitarian stability of society.

Supporting local community initiatives helps reach the most vulnerable families directly and contributes to maintaining essential services under difficult conditions.

Your contribution can help to:
• Support the most vulnerable families
• Maintain essential services in affected communities
• Mitigate the impact of displacement and the economic crisis
