Privacy Policy

Inmaa is committed to protecting users’ privacy online. When the user uses this website or communicates with Inmaa, we collect and store personal information from the user so Inmaa can better serve the user and Inmaa mission.

We wrote this Privacy Policy to let the users know how Inmaa treats their information -- names, contact information, and other important information– and to show the users all the hard work we do to keep it safe and private. Inmaa encourages users to take the time to read it.

The participation of people is crucial to achieving Inmaa’s mission. To keep the network thriving, growing, and effective, Inmaa collects information from members and website users so we can more efficiently and creatively communicate with and mobilize our members, create, promote and fund our campaigns, interface with decision-makers, campaign targets, and the media, and develop new, more effective methods of outreach to grow the Inmaa network.

Inmaa collect, store, and use the following personal information users directly give when the user takes action online or by SMS, donate, create his own petition, or contact us.

  • Details of any donations the user makes to Inmaa, including the amount, currency, and method of payment. Inmaa does not store the user’s credit card information or banking details -- that’s done through payment processors.

  • The history of petitions the user signs or shares with others and petitions the user creates on our Petitions platform.

  • User’s responses to optional polls or surveys that Inmaa may ask the user to complete.

  • Other information the user voluntarily submits in a form on the site or that users share when they contact us.

Inmaa may also collect:

  • User’s social media account IDs and information shared with Inmaa via social media accounts.

  • Data relating to whether the user opens our emails, clicks our email links, signs or shares petitions, and if the people who receive any share/s from the user sign our petitions.

Inmaa also collects from all visitors:

  • Technical information about users’ use of the website, browser type and version, and operating system.

Inmaa uses the personal information collected from users to shape Inmaa’s campaigns, refine users' experience, improve the site, innovate our technology, and optimize ways to forward Inmaa’s mission.

Namely, if the user signs, shares, or donates D&R uses his personal information to:

  • Highlight user’s participation in a campaign by displaying the user's first initial of the first name and user’s full last name, country, and the campaign the user took action on in our live activity feeds.

If the user does not wish to have the name and country publicly associated with a particular campaign, user shall not sign or post on that campaign.
